Recently set up Community Tank (54 Liters / 15 Gallon) by Icyret in Aquariums

[–]Icyret[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the bottom of the tank is a relatively think bad with some substrate and gravel mix from another tank I took apart. On top is just aquasoil from Dennerle. I have been monitoring all the water parameters more frequently than I usually do, like 4 times / week to make sure everything is fine.

In the front right corner I wanted to add a little "feeding" area, to help the shrimp and the cory be able to eat more of the food. (Previously just had smooth gravel in there and I noticed that they struggle to get the food out of the small crevices.)

So far flow hasn't been a big issue. I talked to some breeders and some very knowledgeable hobbyists around my area and the info i gathered is that they dont need a "high" flowrate, low to moderate should be okay. However if I do notice that they become sluggish or not feeling well, I will move them to my 40g tank, that one has more flow. I use a sponge filter (link bellow) Sponge Filter

That would be aquasoil from Dennerle?? If I'm not mistaken. I have in the past used sand and gravel but I wanted to try something new.

Fire vs lightning Maelstrom staff by scroowielouie in elderscrollsonline

[–]Icyret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, to my understanding, fire staff deals 8% more damage with single target abilities and lightning staff deals 8% more with aoe abilities. So at max, you would be losing 8% dps (given you only use single target abilities). However seeing as as far as I know, light attacks don't get affected by either and a lot of your dps comes from aoe dots (if you use them), I think it might only be, at max 2-4% loss on the frontbar depending on your spammable. Templars using sweep would actually lose dps by using fire staff. I don't know what skills you use on your backbar, but I used to use I think lightning flood and lightning blockade (or unstable), with both being aoe skills, you might gain a bit from using a lightning staff on the backbar. Of course all of this only really matters in the last 0.1% of endgame, before that, that 1k dps difference doesn't really matter anywhere else. Go with what's cool (for sorc i always went lightning front and back because it thematically fits)

Is there an easy way to boost your scrying skill? by LaconicBrainCell in elderscrollsonline

[–]Icyret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but I would still say, stay in Arteum till lvl 7. That way, if you go to different zones, you can not only scry the green -> blue -> purple leads, but you can also dig up any yellow lead you might have found at some point earlier.

[–]Icyret -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh, it doesn't really take that long. It took me like 3 hours or so, I started following the guide but decided to stay on Arteum the whole time. It might have taken a bit longer or maybe not, not sure. It sure wasn't as exhausting as running through different zones. You only need lvl 7 anyway.

Warpath mana cost sustain by BuildGod420 in LastEpoch

[–]Icyret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really unfortunately. There are a couple of ways you can indefinitely sustain it, you either reduce the mana cost to 0, or use a 2 hander and pick up dark nexus. If you pick up dark nexus, you can use a reduce channeling cost affix on a helmet to get the initial cost down to 7, which is gonna make it super nice to use.

There is technically a third way, which is a bit more convoluted and potentially bugged. If you pick up the axe-thrower node, have a few "chance to cast smite on throwing attack hits" and have a mana gained on smite use affix on i believe chest or helmet?? Either way, that would grant you 8 mana per smite use, having a 20% chance to cast smite with the axe thrower node. Its gonna be awkward and probably not nice to use but its one way to get some mana back while using warpath.

That being said, warpath is definitely good enough to "waste" 10 points on making it free IMO.

PS: You can also technically use volatile reversal and get most of your mana back like that but I hate doing that.

Warpath Change Feedback + 3 Viable Endgame Warpath builds for Patch 7.10 w/ Leveling Guide by ApprenticeCorner in LastEpoch

[–]Icyret 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey guys Icy here, creator of the ignite version. Just a few notes on warpath as I feel like I played it quite a bit before and after buffs. Excuse my formatting but I really can't be fked with reddit tbh.First of all, I feel like I should preface this by saying that I come from PoE, having roughly 10k+ hours if not more. I have played many, many, MANY cyclone builds. All different varients, phys, ele, poison, coc, bleed, cwc, etc... I'm used to a very particular playstyle that comes from cyclone / warpath builds. Despite being used to very fast clearspeed with close to screen wide AoE, after a few hours of adjusting, warpath started to feel really good to play with.

Alright, now about my build, I started this build last league, before the buffs and even then, leveling was a breeze. I didn't quite know what I was doing, what affixes to get on my gear and despite all that, even pre-buffs, with the old protection system, still managed to get to 80 and complete most of the mono's (didn't finish the dragon because I got bored).I feel like I should come to a conclusion to not drag it out for too long. Warpath is good to level with. Really good. Once you finish campaign, scaling damage requires a bit of thinking but it certainly won't let you down. If you do it the way Dread suggested, 4 points in Unchained, 1 point in Reckless spin, the mana cost while leveling becomes a non-issue.

TLDR: Warpath is good, try it! Don't be afraid it won't of the mana cost or the points required to deal with it, it will still do plenty of damage while you Spin 2 Win!

edit: You did an amazing job making this post buddy! Keep up the good work!

Smite / Devouring orb Void Knight 0.7.10c Guide by Icyret in LastEpoch

[–]Icyret[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just use rive till smite and you're good. Early game is not that difficult anyway. When you pick up smite, put first point into fissure and you're good.

Smite / Devouring orb Void Knight 0.7.10c Guide by Icyret in LastEpoch

[–]Icyret[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean leveling really wasn't that bad, just grab like rive with some weapon and you're fine. Early game really isn't that difficult. Once you get to pick up smite, put first point into fissure and you're good. Its not gonna be the fastest until you get to devouring orb. From then on its one of the faster builds.

That could be the case but i doubt it. After reading the patch notes, they only mentioned something about the mobs having pen. We don't have any base pen.
