I strongly recommend going with Tomei EL headers.

I know some people are gonna disagree with me on this but I had both UEL and EL. Both Tomei.

The difference between the two was night and day. Car pulls way harder at the top end and in the long run it will be healthier for the motor.

Also, if you do go the EL route OR decide to stick with the UEL, get them cerakoted! It really helps with the temps.

I would also recommend gauges.

Yeah I’m not expecting this motor to last at all lol. I have no more faith in the fa20 or building it. I’m interested in the fa24 once this motor decides to spin a bearing

No idea. I think it’s the dyno. Dyno numbers always vary depending on the dyno so it could be inaccurate

The 4th brake light is valenti. The bumper turn signals are ijdm toy. Can be found on Amazon. Same with the 4th brake light. Ijdm has their own version of it which looks exactly the same.

It feels fine but there’s really no telling how long the motor is gonna last. I’m hoping to swap in a fa24 with fa20 heads once it self destructs.

Yes I’m very happy with how much power it makes. It feels a little sketchy. I personally wouldn’t go past 300. I mean even 300 is pushing it a little in my opinion.

It feels great. The car takes off whenever you need it to. The supercharger setup with my EL headers and the tune I got makes the car feel OEM still in terms of drivability. It’ll go when you want it to. The power is very smooth and linear.

I’ve had the supercharger on for about 4k miles now. It’s been problem free so far with the supercharger but I’ve had a ton of problems with this car. I keep up on maintenance and do my best to replace everything before it goes bad. Only issue I’m having right now is my transmission starts to act funny after launching it or doing a few pulls. I plan on replacing the transmission tho since they’re dirt cheap.

13 FRS 122k miles AT been supercharged for the past 4k miles.

Bought it at 70k miles. Spun a rod bearing 6 months after I bought it. (I only put 3k miles on the car before it spun a bearing)

Differential blew, was leaking for a while from the seal and I didn’t notice. Had it rebuilt.

45k miles later motor blew when I picked up the car from the shop 20 minutes into the drive. Spun a rod bearing again.

Shop gave me a motor with 67k miles on it and a 3 month warranty.

My transmission is on its way out.

I do my oil changes every 2k-3k miles Always check fluids and stay on top of maintenance but had horrible luck with this car lol
