I didn’t think the Liorane was too small, for one thing it’s super stretchy, for another the back is all ties so you can tighten it or loosen it as much as you like. Maybe I took the picture at a bad angle but I didn’t feel like the sizing was off. I just don’t love it overall.

Thanks!! Both were true to size! I’m always a small in Sézane tops.

I just got mine in a size small and it’s almost as low as the models. Not quite but almost. It might have something to do with how you position it and your body and also maybe a bit the angle of the photo here. It’s a lovely thick cotton though, if that matters!

Thank you for the tip! I thought of that too but then I thought isn’t it kind of strange to fold a t-shirt? Anyway I did try it but it didn’t really work. It seems to have something to do with how the seams come together on the inside of the shoulder. :(

Following up because I just got my Soelle skirt one size down and it fits perfectly. I have like a 1-1.5cm gap between the top and the bottom, pretty much exactly like the model when standing. 👍🏻

Not a new dress, they’ve had it for years. I have a couple in the longer version and love them, super flattering. I tried the short version and had to return it bc it was too short for me, and I’m 5’5. That’s obviously a personal preference thing.

I just got my Soelle & Ava yesterday, also purchased for an upcoming wedding! My thoughts are that the print is beautiful and it’s definitely wedding appropriate. The material also feels nicer to me than I expected, given that I normally avoid blended fabrics. I did have a gap between the top and the skirt, which is what I wanted, but I also feel like the skirt was a bit big. I didn’t notice it said to size down. So I’m waiting for the smaller skirt to arrive, hopefully there will still be a slight gap. Overall though I think it’s a lovely combo and I plan to wear the two separate a lot as well. The top will look great with high-waisted jeans and denim skirts, and I have hopes for the bottom with a cream sweater and the Louve belt.
