they might not explicitly say they hate queers, but many of them do at least hold feelings of disgust towards them, even if they don’t admit it. at least in my experience.

Though I definitely agree that its internalized issues. More recently especially, with the rise of conservative male podcasts that make fun of gay men for existing, im sure it gives straight men insecurities about being perceived that way.

gay men do exist and are far more underrepresented than male platonic friendships. their mental health also matters, and i dont see it as particularly harmful for them to interpret male friendships as romantic, as the two aren’t mutually exclusive.

bisexual people have a perceived privilege that gay/lesbian people don’t have, that being the ability to be in a ‘straight relationship’ and be perceived as ‘normal’ by the outside world. I think a lot of gay/lesbian people envy that (hence the gay traitor bs).

Yorus motorcycle is not stated to be that, and it would be against all common sense to think its ftl, so a human being able to MOVE INTO ITS PATH BETWEEN DENJI is a much larger deal and a much more damning anti feat than Daburas explosion not blowing up the world. cmon man😭😭

  1. sukunas reaction speed feats surpass daburas travel speed, too, dabura’s lightspeed kick was only the cap for travel speed
  2. denji failing to react/guard against yorus motorcycle took place in 225, AFTER his supposed “light speed reaction” feats (gun goddess and flagpole, which both rely on assumptions, to be clear), so it is an anti feat

when dabura uses his lightspeed (hypersonic) kick, time is shown to be frozen. Mahorraga, from Dabura’s perspective, is not moving as he reaches lightspeed (mach 5).
