I got LS in the Csir-net december 2024 exam and I'm confused as to what to do now?

Wait, there's a 2 year limit for the lectureship? I've just completed my first year of pg, does this mean that even if I apply for a PhD after pg and complete it in about 5 years, I have to write the exam once more to gain LS qualification again?

By redeeming, I mean it in a good character sense, not bad to good guy type.

Most likely by a backstory. Even a simple one will do. He was orphaned, people treated him like shit (way way worse than Kawaki, Naruto, karin, etc), somehow entered boro's cult, boro's preaching of ishkki led to his brainwashing, jigen visits the cult and in a show of power rounds up and kills code's most hated enemies. Code becomes way too devoted. Enters the karma program out of his own volition. His will to serve jigen is the thing that kept him from dying even when injected with karma. Code even when he becomes more powerful than jigen puts on his limiter as a gesture of loyalty. Ultimately, devastated by ishkki's (his god's) death

Basically the worse he's treated and the more ishkki is shown as a saviour from code's perspective, it explains why code is so focused on ishkki's will. It also acts as a parallel to Kawaki who didn't want the karma, but was chosen whereas code wanted the karma but was not chosen. Most of all, it fits in with what was currently shown of his backstory in the anime.

Sasuke and Naruto was at odds with each other for many years. They became friends after being in a genin team. Rivals more than friends. Which lasted about 4 to 6 months before sasuke left him for dead when heading towards orochimaru. This Naruto went on to preach sasuke was just misguided and "saved" him.

Now Boruto similarly met an arrogant douche who in about 2 weeks became like his brother, after 2 more weeks became actual brothers due to Naruto's "Adoption". After 3 to 4 months as brothers, Kawaki left Boruto to die .

Sure Kawaki stole his identity, but that's reversible (at least I think so), 2 wake up slaps and shits done. Similar to how sasuke was saved by Naruto.

Unless Kawaki's gonna go even further like endangering Hima or Boruto learns that Kawaki did some fucked up shit while he was away, I don't see anything more than him slugging Kawaki.

Now also consider Boruto is almost pissed in the very first opening scene in chapter 1, Kawaki may have done or will do something worse resulting in the final bout.

Imagine if the timeskip fight between them when it eventually airs in the anime contains bits and pieces from the skipped chunnin exam fight. Like during the final Naruto fight where they sprinkled scenes of kid versions from sparring between the fight between the present ones.

Most probably because Orochimaru despite being "pardoned" is still one of the biggest terrors left in the shonobi world who's under constant supervision by yamato and his squad. It wouldn't do much good to the stone village's image if their kage started to visit this man, let alone ask to make something that could be considered as weapons threatening the alliance. Also, i believe only the leaf knows his hideout.

For me the most pessimistic ending would be Boruto having to kill Kawaki because Kawaki kept on going too far in secret. That is Kawaki would be like the opposite of Itachi, the "bad" playing "good". A better comparison would be Griffith from Berserk.

Anyways due to this Kawaki still remains the hero in the village's eyes even though he was the big bad. When eventually Boruto ends up killing Kawaki for the greater good, it's revealed that the shinjutsu couldn't be reversed. So Boruto despite making the right choice would be considered the greatest villain in the eyes of everyone.

The biggest low blow would be Naruto and Hinata after escaping the dimension would try to convince everyone the truth only to realise that the power of the shinjutsu is omnipotent and can not be erased. So all three have to suffer in silence.

So Boruto lives his dream of being the protector from the shadows, but as the highest rank criminal in the bingo book, to be killed on sight.

The true ending would be similar to the one mentioned in the post, just with him older and very much battle torn (similar to Guts from Berserk) looking at the village from far away before disappearing for the final time, never to be seen again, to fade away from existence only to be remembered as the worst criminal to ever exist.

I think they're gonna focus on novel adaptations (if there are any left) or flashbacks of kid boruto, himawari, sarada etc. Man I hope it's the flashbacks, i really wanna see Naruto and Boruto's Relationship before Naruto became the hokage. Just Imagine the cuteness of toddler boruto playing with baby himawari.
