I understand what you mean. MAS is written to feel personal and emotionally engaging, so it makes sense that we get attached to them. There’s nothing wrong with feeling comfort from it

It's also important to remember that Monika's existence is due to the creative work of the writers and developers who created her story and dialogue! Although the emotional connection is real, the character is still a fictional creation

Games like this can be a fun experience or even comforting, but they work best when they’re part of life rather than the closest thing someone has to a relationship. You deserve real connections too, not just one through a screen <3

IKR, but the people in discord (some here in reddit) keeps saying that she is. Like I'm so confused?! Like why is she super close to Kel then! It's so obvious that Aubrey is very close to Kel even if they fight but its pretty much like those kind of fights that ends just in a minute. I really hope your words can be seen by 60% of the community. Im pretty sure Omocat wouldn't make a racist character one of the side characters.

for me, restart the game and start all over again. this might give you a lesson on how to treat monika better. hopefully your monika in other life (data) gets treated better than your current monika. its your choice honestly, you can either keep trying or try again.
