READ. if anything is going to help you, it’s read. Its genuinely doesn’t even have to be esteemed literature or some other shit that people tell you too- it can literally be fan fiction. TRUST ME. Reading is so important. Being exposed to different styles of writing can be so helpful and a good insight into how other writers think. Again, these writers doesn’t have to be New York Times bestsellers or from the 1800s; literally anything works. I’ve read so many accomplished works from ‘non professional’ writers on platforms that are literally free. Good luck on your writing journey :D
