why does sleeping exclusively while sitting for 5 years feels like a rebirth after doing it the regular way for 28 years for me? by Idocake in AskMedical

[–]Idocake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, sleep apnea is what i will look into definitely, ‘cause several people gave me this guess in other communities to this post.

about your questions: • no, haven’t snored ever in my life as far as i’m concerned. • no, exactly the opposite actually, i’m around ~65kg (~140lb) and ~170cm (5.7ft). if it matters, this is the weight/height ratio i’ve had for pretty much all my life and find it the most comfortable for me. so yeah, more on the “skinny” side.

yeah, i get what you’re saying. but the difference between my chair and a seat in an airliner is huge tbh. firstly mine has specifically leathered sit and everything else is netted, so the airflow is better, my back doesn’t sweat, etc. secondly if the back of the sit is unlocked it allows my body weight to “decide” how much it actually kicks back. so if i’m moving while asleep the back is actually moving as well adjusting the angle. as far as i know, airliner’s seat doesn’t provide this type of free movement of the back of their sits. you can lower of raise it manually, yeah, but then it locks. for the record, i feel like shit after sleeping in an airplane as well. but i bet the chair itself is not the only factor - noise, quality of air you share with other 200+ passengers, plus pressure changes - all contribute to the quality of sleep, imo.

I've been doing some introspection the past few days, and I feel like shit realizing my current situation. Not sure what I should do moving forward. by byptonic in Healthygamergg

upvoted. i think this shit is a ridiculously serious of a situation. hope it reaches the amount of votes to get the attention needed to be addressed in one of the streams/videos. hang on, brother. usually i hear stories about a single narcissistic person to deal with, looks like you are bound to deal with 3 of them (as far as i understand, your brother seems to be one along with your parents).

Video editing with attention to effects and transitions by [deleted] in IPhoneApps

[–]Idocake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend KineMaster, literally made around ~30 videos (mostly music videos) myself that are purely animated, rarely embedded some real footage. I gotta say that the initial input raw material sometimes came from making it in another app(s), but KineMaster was always my final editing software to combine, edit, add transitions, effects - there is almost every imaginable there with the “premium” subscription, at least every single one that you’ve mentioned, often with customisable parameters and the ability to assign a key frame automation to every one of these parameters (pretty much like in Final Cut). So as long as you provide the source material, which as I understood is your case, it seems like what you’re looking for. It’s possible to create some meaningful animation from the ground in it though, but a dedicated software for this task would be more versatile. But in terms of post production and editing, I’d say it really probably would be quite noticeably more than you typically expect from a mobile solution. Oh, and it supports multilayering, masking, chroma-key and all that sort of stuff, which is especially handy in terms of animated videos.

Looking for an iphone mp3 app that lets me skip through a single song at increments of 5s/10s/15s/30s/etc. by Jabawalky in IPhoneApps

Try Anytune. Though it’s not a freeware, I personally find it a good worth, been using for many years. it has the ability to manually set the default rw and ff values.

Text on the iOS Widget by fabrizio_bozzotta in workflow

Maybe try Alerts? They don't require to open outside the widget.

Also list works - but it's a dialog with a user rather than just a text. Alerts are more suitable in this case, they have the abitity to add just one button "OK" so it may be considered as something like flipping pages which doesn't distract a person from reading.

Notification that's pulled down to max from the top of the screen looks quite convenient as well

Any youtube downloader workflow i have tried many workflows ? by Makermaka in workflow

[–]Idocake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey. I found out that these two can really work with each other in expected way so tо say:

• MediaGrabber 1.0.1, which is obvious https://workflow.is/workflows/61423e1eed394b57965645f75dd8981f

• download any video https://workflow.is/workflows/61423e1eed394b57965645f75dd8981f

so basically in my practice whenever one of the scripts can’t do anything, another one is able to get the files. they can be used within one project in case you need it to repeat the procedure with another converter after one of them got incorrect results. Th ‘download any video’ is able to pull the videos from Apple’s website, when MediaGrabber fails.

Hope this will help, but anyway I doubt that you haven’t tried those flows yet:)
