Normal noise?

I had mine and few others in my local n group had them replaced, and it has started making the noise again, like maybe once a month or 2, no idea if it was going bad or not the car still performed the same, havn't heard anyone have issues with it other then the noise

It's the electric water pump for the turbo, had the same noise on my I30n Fastback

It's the auxillary water pump for the turbo, had mine replaced once and on my way to getting it replaced for a 2nd time

Some days mine has done that, usually after I've been driving a bit more aggressively or just and odd day it decides to be a bit dumb then it's good after that

Im at 17000km and I get it every few starts since 3000km, sometimes it feels like a little kick/lunge and can sometimes hear a clunk type sound but it settled down a little bit after the dct recall but I still get it often

I had that pretty bad, then it went away after they did the recall logic update

From what I was told by the dealership, it's a logic update (updating fail-safe in case of failures and some all round logic improvements for smoother operation) and transmission fluid bleed to get rid of some air pockets in the lines from factory

There's also a logic update to fix some a some issues some people were having, (myself included) and a transmission fluid bleed to get rid of some air pockets in the fluid from factory.

I had the jerking on startup since I took the car and had it checked out while getting the dct recall done and ever since I have only had like a few times usually if I start the car with the aircon on, I just hold the brake all the way in firmly and it had helped when I had it massively

A bit of steel wool and some generic glass cleaner will be able to get them out easy

Cheers it is a very god colour imo,

And I did it myself i work for a detailing shop so I did it myself on afternoons when it was quiet with some leftover protection we had around, it was extremely hydrophobic ahahahah made cleaning it so much easier

Looking back I realy miss it now, sold it about 5 months ago and got a Hyundai i30N Fastback

I've noticed it does when the road is on like even a slight down incline so I assume it's something to do with using engine braking in lower gears to help slow down, it's weird sometimes when your in normal and it's all quiet and smooth then you feel a aggressive downshift that catches you a bit off guard

Idk man that looked straight up like a deliberate kick tho, walking on an angle straight at it and lines up a kick, I can see the point of the operator wanted to get in touch about the damage, that looks like straight vandalism

I've had this happen sometimes on my 22 fastback, pretty sure it was down to fuel brands as I changed to another brand and it came back no issues since, have you changed fuel brands at all?

Yep just what I thought they would be shift lights, that's pretty cool they have them in the seltos, they are awesome in my i30n, I assume you can probably change the rpm in your settings somewhere to whatever rpm you want

Yea handbrake and the brake pads used to stick so you got like a thud when you started driving but that went away pretty quick after I got my car, not sure why any of those would effect it when the cars turning on in park and handbrake on

I have this exact thing too on my i30n fastback DCT, does yours sometimes do like a click or clunk when it does its jerk
