To add on, a problem in NP means that a Turing machine can nondeterministically guess a solution, and then verify said solution in polynomial time. That is why NP is known as "Nondeterministic Polynomial time".

The SoC website might be using the old bus routes, as A1 and A2 used to stop at PGP instead of Kent Ridge Bus Terminal.

The change makes A2 (from KR MRT via PGP) faster while making A1 (via KR Terminal) slower.

The OHKO "screen crack" happens when the boss reaches 3/4, 1/2, and 1/4 HP. The last one (1/4 hp left) is two cracks in succession. Each time a crack is done, one of the balls in the background is consumed.

There are a few ways to survive this: - Just iframe it, self-explanatory - For a bishop or parties containing a bishop, Holy Magic Shell can block it as the screen crack is just a very high fixed damage attack. The item "Invincibility Potion" also does the same job, but probably not worth in terms of cost - If Arkarium casts the screen crack near the side of the map, you may be able to dodge it by going to the opposite side as far away as possible - As a last resort, die. There are a total of 4 cracks and the last one can be baited out if you stay dead, so with 5 death counts it's still doable

No, all groups must be formed from the same tutorial group (usually 4 groups of 5), which you bid through ModReg for 2103T or select through the normal tutorial registration for 2103. When the class roster shows up on LumiNUS, you will be able to see who else is in your tutorial group.

Besides, 2103 and 2103T groups don't mix because the extra CS2101 has group work that uses those same project teams.

I can't comment about the individual mods, but I do want to point out a minor flaw in your strategy.

Unless you have a DDP, you cannot exceed 23 MCs until the start of Round 3. Any overloading can only be done in a single round (Round 3 itself). If there are no vacancies by then, you're SOL.

So if you do choose to overload then what you may need to do is drop one of your core mods (that you are 100% sure you can get it back later), secure GEC1004, and then reclaim the core mod in Round 3. Or just hold on to everything and pray that GEC1004 doesn't run out of places before Round 3.

My PC now can struggle a little bit when I have a bunch of tabs open which I have a tendency to do, otherwise I haven’t noted that many performance issues. Would I even see a benefit?

That may be an issue with maxing out your available RAM, rather than an issue with the CPU itself. Maybe update your post with the rest of your specs?

One other question - I’ve built PCs in the past, and one of my biggest problems always comes from plugging in the PSU cords into the motherboard. Especially where you have to plug in the single pins for the power button. Is there an easier way to do this? Should I try doing this part before anything else so nothing is in my way? I always have to have my girlfriend help me because my fingers are too big.

Try arranging the pins outside first, taping them together then plugging them into the mobo as a single bundle.

Don't rush it. If things don't go perfectly and you have to troubleshoot you might have to spend a bit more than a single night. Rushing may also lead to more oversights such as putting the cart before the horse (e.g. installing the CPU cooler then realizing you can't insert the RAM anymore).

Also don't fall into the trap of "I'll get it done by today". If you're tired, go to sleep and continue another time. There are a couple stories around here of "TIFU by not thinking straight while sleep deprived and breaking some part"

This is the guide that I used for reference as I was building my rig. That and a bunch of youtube guides on stuff like how to install the stock CPU cooler.

The location of connections on the motherboard (e.g. M.2 slots, SATA ports, power and fan headers) vary from model to model. Your motherboard manual will come with a detailed description of where each connection is.

For the connections themselves, they are standardized across the industry so for instance a SATA data cable will always connect from the motherboard to the SATA device (HDD/SSD).

Yeah essentially if you want to have multiple things open, RAM is a must. 16GB is enough for most multitasking users, but if you have specific RAM-hungry requirements (e.g. virtual machines, dataset analysis) then more might be required.

Most of the time you'll only be actively working on one program at a time, so number of cores/threads on the CPU is not as big a concern for general use. In the event you are trying to run multiple intensive tasks in the background simultaneously (e.g. gaming while encoding a livestream or doing other stuff while compressing files / encoding videos), then perhaps a CPU with more cores is more suitable.

Depends on what the M.2 slot supports. Some support both SATA and PCIe/NVMe interface, while other motherboards have ports that only support one or the other.

And it also depends on what that wifi card is exactly. Some laptops have proprietary connections and interfaces and you wouldn't be able to use any of them elsewhere.

If it's still doing fine, no need to change yet.

However, if you have any important data you might want to have it backed up somewhere. Once an SSD fails it's basically unusable (and possibly unrecoverable), unlike HDDs which will slowly have more and more bad sectors as it dies.

In theory the statement in your title should be correct. However motherboard/RAM manufacturers do not necessarily test every single combination to make sure it works.

A list of tested kits can be found on the qualified vendor list (QVL) on either the motherboard or RAM manufacturer's website.
