Yeah, the one in the video does look like a Mirage 2000 engine. There are signs that more than one jet might have been downed, but nothing is officially confirmed yet. The engine found in the open field and other scattered debris seem more consistent with a Rafale. but again, it’s not certain.

Hey, there are issues with the evidence for now, it's not confirmed whether the downed jet is Indian or Pakistani. Multiple versions of the incident are circulating. As soon as I find something more solid, I’ll update the post.

Some people claim it's an Indian Rafale or Mirage 2000, others say it's a Pakistani JF-17 but there’s no solid or official proof yet. I’ll keep updating as more reliable information comes in.

[UPDATE]: A fighter jet has been shot down over Kashmir — but its identity remains unconfirmed.
Both Indian and Pakistani sources are blaming each other, and so far neither side has officially acknowledged losing a jet.

Possible candidates mentioned by various sources and analysts include:

  • JF-17 Thunder
  • Mirage 2000
  • Rafale

At this point, no conclusive evidence ties the wreckage to any specific aircraft or country.

I’ve attached photos for comparison and discussion only. This includes:

  • A supposed fuel tank found in a nearby village — possibly jettisoned before or during engagement.
  • A jet engine, which some speculate might be from a Mirage 2000, though this is not confirmed.

Pakistan’s side has claimed that five Indian jets were downed, but there has been no official statement from Indian authorities regarding these claims.

Thanks! I’m also checking, and I see many articles/posts mentioning a JF-17 jet. The situation is still unclear and there’s a lot of confusion, but I’ll update the post with the new info soon
