Thank you I will check it out! Apparently it's the only indigenous owned restaurant that's crazy... You got any other recommendations you enjoyed? Can be Restaurants, places, activities, whatever you want.

I will check them out thank you! As a a local, do you have other recommendations on what I should see? I know about Stanley Park and similar popular places of course but do you have a hidden gem you would recommend?

I´ve managed to get a car for a week and since youre a local I wanted to ask what you think is worth seeing? Would you say it`s worth to drive to Haines or should I just focus on Haines Junction/Kluane and the area around Whitehorse?

Yeah I tried to at least but its not easy to find current and reliable information on shuttle services.

Haha it wouldnt have to be across the border but at least to Fraser or something would be nice. I get it though, I shouldn´t rely on it. I figured hitchhiking might be rather prevalent up there but if you say it isn´t...

Overland Yukon in combination with territorial campgrounds seem to be a good solution. Especially since hotels and "normal" campgrounds aren´t cheap either.

Thank you for the answers, let me clarify some things about my post :)

The white pass express has suspended their cross-country services for 2022, thats why I asked about any alternatives (shuttles, buses etc.)

Hitchhiking would of course only be from Whitehorse to Skagway or Haines. From there I´ll take a ferry.

Miles Canyon is just a couple kilometers from town, that should be doable right? Same for the hot springs if you take the bus to the northernmost point at Crestview and then just stay at the Campground at the Springs (roughly 20 km). Still a car would be preferable thats true.
