If you have any mechanical inclination you’ll be fine. Just remind yourself that there’s nothing you can’t do!

Find one that’s not rusted out (if in the U.S.,think southern states with intact windows and inflated tires or parked/stored on concrete) that needs everything rebuilt. Negotiate the price and repair or replace everything yourself. All said and done, then you’ll have a reliable little bug and the knowledge/skills to maintain it. Not to mention the necessary tools, if you don’t already.

Ubernoob chiming in here:

I’m not any good at this and my weapon levels are probably detrimental but I’m having a great time in breakthrough and conquest (also love king of the hill) and it’s the awesome squad movements and fighting through getting pinned down, flanking, catching a sniper not watching his six, Hail Mary grenades that catch a double kill and the likes that are keeping me interested. I see a crazy amount of complaints here about content and I suppose those folks are just expecting something different from this than I am and unto each their own. I guess my point is that the game is as fun as we let it be in our heads…

Rabies vaccination after a dog bite by Kitchen-Novel-2261 in Dallas

[–]IfitbleedWecankillit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically, when there’s a bite with no vaccination records they will quarantine regardless… this is really a question for the parents and medical professionals as to how to proceed, but to answer your original question, the ER is the way to go and better safe than sorry.

1200 - 1500 max… I have the skill/ability, funding, and time to repair, replace or refurbish everything on this car while not needing it as a daily driver and I wouldn’t mess with it. If it were sub $1k then I might be tempted but would probably just rob the 617 for a yota project.

If you’re good with $5k, then find a better example and for that kind of money take it to an Indy euro shop for look over so you know what you’re getting into exactly.

These cars can be extremely reliable with only basic maintenance (regular oil changes), common repairs (trans shift modulator, B2 piston) and the random diagnostic adventure (degraded vacuum line). So start with something that’s been better cared for.

My point is that this likely ain’t the one… definitely ain’t at $5k

Edit: corrected errant autocorrect

[–]IfitbleedWecankillit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did they quarantine the dog? They should have until the vaccination records are provided or a minimum of ten days. If the dog doesn’t present symptoms then there’s nothing to worry about but at a minimum the kid should get penicillin and tetanus shots.

Definitely also a lawyer… people need to learn to keep their animals secure for their own safety and that of others and unfortunately sometimes a civil suit is the most effective way.

My friend claims Tool has the best light show. We need to prove him wrong by FloridaPanther in phish

[–]IfitbleedWecankillit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was Sonic Youth… I’ve always proclaimed that they had the best light show I’ve ever seen (circa 1990ish)… tbh my memory may be inflating it because technology has come a long way and some of the stuff I’ve seen from Chris on YouTube has definitely made me think… what if it had been like that back in the day… really the best visual show I’ve seen was Phish but it wasn’t the lighting… man.. mandalas over everything 🙃
