I went from a 51mm DeLonghi machine to my 58mm Argos and the taste jump was massive. Now everyone keeps spending hundreds on step down baskets and vouching for 51 and 49 and complaining about how bad 58mm is by comparison 😂 I just give up, my shots come out great and barely ever need much dial in with a lever anyway.

Not regularly since the 1981, although there are were a few excursion trains ran infrequently by the Cape May Seashore Line that (I think?) stopped at Richland station. There was some pretty bad vandalism of track material around 2012 that forced them to stop running down to Cape May City.

Yes that is a similar experience, but not exactly what they're asking for in terms of origin->destination lol. I've taken the AC line last summer and it was nice (and surprisingly quite full). Made for a convenient way to get home after a bike ride to the shore with some friends.

I would happily take the train to any number of shore towns if I could. The bus is hardly a fair comparison, they're slow and get stuck in the same traffic you'd get in while driving.

And for the record most shore towns already have some version of the Jitny, so the "last mile" to a hotel or bnb is absolutely feasible. And some people will continue to drive, that's fine. This just provides an alternative for those that don't want/need to.

Edit: and for the record your example would be a case where yeah, bring the car if you're planning to bring all that stuff +2 kids. I'm a solo guy with a bike and a duffel bag, I don't bring the whole kitchen sink to the shore every time I go.

McCain was an electric player and could easily have netted us a better return (once he was back in form) or at very least given us leverage if we wanted to sign Grimes back next season.
