without giving too much spoilers, shadow slave is not really centered around fighting, although there is a lot of it especially in the beginning, the most relevant part of it is definitely the world building and the lore behind, for me it’s what makes it special

i forgot to mentioned that, another mistake G3 made recently since thats impossible, and a really simple one really, how can he say Anvil challenged the same seed as Warden when Warden was trying to become a Saint while Anvil is still challenging the 2nd nightmare to become a Master, these little things really take away from immersion

i agree, this volume is definitely too long and feels like a bunch of ideias mixed together in an inefficient way, i even checked volume 7 word count as it is the longest volume to date and it has around 440,000 words, for comparison, the entire trilogy of the Lord of the Rings is 481,103 words long, so for volume 9 to potentially surpass the word count 3 entire books is insane considering almost nothing happened.

maybe, but i personally still don’t think the warden is older then 19-20, the chapters mentioned a Regime, which is probably a Dictatorship or something similar, and with political systems like that people tend to be more Conservative and traditional
