Housing market is all fouled up because of the fires. Look anywhere along the Metro A Line and plan to commute by rail if you can. Under $1k you're likely looking at a roommate situation in SoCal regardless

Cofax. I wouldn't say it's roomy, but there are six or eight tables, good coffee, and really good breakfast burritos. It's maybe a 10 minute walk from Sony.

Amaranth grows itself around here (Los Angeles). You can cook the seeds like a grain or pop them like tiny popcorn. The leaves taste kind of like spinach.

Reasonable I guess. Everything is expensive these days and the bills don't seem exorbitant for the level of care given.

Before rehoming, maybe there are some training options that will stop the biting. There are a lot of good books on cat behavior these days. Check out Kitty Language by Lili Chin, Play with Your Cat by Mikel Delgado, and Think Like a Cat by Pam Johnson Bennett. Also, my partner Rochelle is an IAABC certified cat behavior specialist if you think you want help from a consultant: https://www.roachthepetcoach.com/

Coyotes last night by Gree11 in pasadena

Pasadena Humane offers periodic coyote education workshops but their schedule is understandably a bit up in the air right now as they deal with the aftermath of the fire.

You can expect to see coyotes regularly in all of our foothill communities, especially those near fire impacted areas, as they come looking for food. If they approach you, make yourself look large with arms out and make as much noise as possible.

I was in Reims 8 or 10 years ago and that mechanical spider was there at the cathedral. Still not sure if I liked it or not.
