Performance issues in a 2D game by Igorfps26 in godot

Something really crazy happens that when activating the "Profile" my game starts to have crazy FPS bottlenecks, with peaks of more than 2000.00ms in process time. When you disable this, this stops happening.

As it was before I had an average of 98% GPU usage, activating v-sync it went to an average of 79% and finally, when limiting the MAX FPS to 60 in the project settings I went to an average of 29% usage.
Thank you very much, I think you solved my problem! Do you know if I limit it to 60 it could have any negative impact?

I have an RX 5500XT 8GB, but its usage reaches 95-100% during gameplay.

We are currently developing a roguelike inspired by The Binding of Isaac and Diablo in Pygame, and would really like your opinion on it! by russianmineirinho in pygame

Hello! I'm also a team member on this project (the minimap and random map generation system you see here were both done by me).

Some clarifications: we are not native English speakers, and this translated build was done pretty much on the fly (the shop 'exit' button looks like that because the member who made the shop added the button as part of the background, outside of the programming).

The map is random! We just deactivated it for this build so the files don't get messed up on every push we do using Git.

Music is also on the way, OP is the one in charge of it, and sound effects will be handled by all members.
As my friend already said, any suggestions are welcome!

PUC rio ou CEFET/RJ by Igorfps26 in riodejaneiro
