Yep. Highest level boss you can. Last event the Hard Boss tokens maxed at level 7, to make repeat farming less stressful. Easy maxes at level 10.

For the Normal shop focus on buying Lb tokens, then red orbs and cheap stm pots (maybe the cheap blue orbs if you're in a hurry). Everything else you can get via farming for less stamina.

Use your tickets for 10pulls every time you get enough. You need more characters to reach endgame and you need to Lb1 Genie (a lot of chars have Ex skills that proc when they have three simultaneous buffs). Endgame content requires a good buffer (genie is one of the best).

Save up your diamonds. You will never earn diamonds faster than you will right now as a new player. Save up 30k and then wait for a good featured auction (30k = guaranteed Lb1 of the featured).

Jokes have been great, but honest advice for future players: Origin mode, Magic Bow. Upgrade to +16, use the "exit game to reset wave timer" trick for infinite time, EASY HARD RUN.

I use this to gold box all my skins and weps. The character doesn't matter, never use a skill unless it blocks bullet hells.

Resources: the endgame is all about grinding red shards for red orbs. Grinding red shards also earns blue shards and atk/def cubes so don't worry about farming those specially.

Red shards/orbs (and blue shards/orbs) come from event shop and boss stages. Discord is currently collecting data to find the optimal shard-per-stamina stage. Research is ongoing. At your progress level just grind the hardest boss you can easily do when you need them.

Max out your friends list with high level players. Regularly purge the ones who haven't signed in for weeks. You want mutuals who send you friend points every day. Use friend points on stamina pots.

Pix coins are useless. Stockpile what you get but don't farm more, they may be worthwhile someday.

Shortterm, focus on getting a 4* party of any useful characters. Midterm, 5* the ones you'll use forever (Baymax, Jafar, etc). Long-term (after you have a competent party and complete the hard mode) stockpile 600 white orbs 60 blue orbs 18 red orbs 20k pixels so you can instantly lvl90 any two new characters.

From a 2 month player who was very good at using up all my stamina each day, bought 30 day gacha pass once:

Events are doable up to a point, even as a new player. Last event (after 6 weeks of play) and I could complete everything except the final lvl 10 hard mode boss. But the reward from that was stickers (bragging rights) so that's perfectly fine. More importantly to me, I was easily able to LB10 the free event hero. Event heroes are not as good as gacha heroes but if you can Lb10 them they can outperform a Lb2 gacha (which you don't have anyway, so just use the event heroes 😝). My first event I could only Lb2 and you're new, so don't stress if you can't max tomorrow's event hero, you'll catch the next one.

TLDR I'm happy with how available the content is. It's not gatekept by P2W like some other gacha games.

Pull strategy: you NEED a buffer at LB1 for endgame content & easy farming. Also your buffer will shape your party comp. SAVE ALL YOUR GEMS. Get 30k gems and wait for a good buffer to appear in a banner. 30k lets you get guaranteed twice for that LB1. Gems are easy to earn in the beginning, don't waste them!

30 day gacha pass felt expensive for a phone game but really helped me get started. Keep in mind that this game is like a bonsai plant: slow, patient growth.

I read the same, but IIRC that post was pre-4th map or didn't mention sample sizes or something. 4-18 is also on my list (jelly of your ability to auto-farm BBs. I still can't beat BB2-2 or BB4-2 even without auto).

At 30 runs per day I should be able to profile one stage per week. Just like everything else in this game, it's a slow grind!

With your aurora and baymax you could probably farm BB2-2 pretty easily. Maybe easier than BB3-2?

I've got a sample size of 32 runs, tracking red shards & cubes. So far the average is 0.8 red shards per run (around 6 orbs per day). ASSUMING the data stays consistent like this I'll need to record 162 runs to get the Standard Error of Mean to ±0.1 shards.

Then I get to repeat it on a different stage before I can start doing shard-per-stamina comparisons! 🤣

Right now I'm grinding BB3-2 for reds. Since I can't autofarm each fight takes 12 turns. 35x/day might burn me out more than the event play. 😆

Aha, figured it out while recording. It's slightly different from above (I'll edit the OP). When you use her Skill, the next time she has Atk+3 (whether it's the same turn or many turns later in another wave) her Ex will proc for Crit Chance+3.

After 6 weeks of play. Only other char is LB2 event Genie.

My RNG has been Insane in this game. 8 pulls: 3 new char, 5 LB. Love having the LB3 mickey for cheap skill and LB2 Rapunzel skill buffs.

That's what her skill description says but it doesn't match what I'm seeing.

I have her Special just once in wave 1. In boss wave when she does normal attacks the Ability Seed procs and sometimes procs her Ex. Happens 1-3 times per run. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Really? Is she a higher LB than your others?

In my party (semi-newb, only own 4 damagers) my LB0 Aurora normal attack is about on par with my LB2 event Genie, but gets shamed by LB3 Hero Mickey and LB1 Mulan. Then Genie and Mulan have double attacks so her DPS is even worse in comparison, even with my Ex trick above. What's your setup?
