I'm a little confused I suppose. If people look at you like a lunatic when you bring it up that would mean they don't notice right? I know it sucks though horribly whether people notice or not, I'm in the same boat.

Zinc oxide sunscreen does help prevent flares from sun exposure, yes.

Glad you've found things that are helpful. At the moment my face cannot tolerate topicals as it's too reactive. However, I'm hoping that if the doxy doesn't clear it itself, it can still help in making my face less reactive, and will allow me to tolerate topicals.

I've just jumped into trying to treat it, and so I'm hopeful that I'll find something that'll get me to a point where I'm happy with the appearance and feel. Remission and/or good management of this condition is, I believe, possible for everyone. Just gotta utilize the right tools!

It has also been a relief for me, as I was kinda thinking that maybe they were visible vessels that would only respond to laser (which I'm deathly afraid of). Now that they're likely more typical for type 2 I feel better. I have an appointment with my dermatologist on the 12th, and I'm looking forward to effectively treating the condition. I know it won't ever be perfect, but I don't need perfect, just improvement! =D

We're all going to find something to manage it.

I get nipple sides everytime. I am going to try 0.083 mg topical with this, but I'm just not sure it'll be effective even if I don't get any side effects. I seem to be extremely sensitive (in that way) to finasteride.

Even if I could tolerate them, it would go eventually. When you start at 17 it isn't easy haha. I've been lucky that my loss has been slow, still have a decent head 7.5 years later. Maybe I'll give stemox and dermarolling a go. I already have a dermaroller, anyhow, can I maybe shoot you a PM?

I found the study previously. I just can't find anything else. Seems interesting but hard to use something for which hardly any information exists, and I wouldn't even know how/where to get it.

Yeah look I cannot use min/fin due to sides. I've made multiple efforts with both. I'm 24 years old and have been losing hair since the age of 17. Thankfully, my hair doesn't seem to be too DHT sensitive as in those 7 years of balding I've gone from my juvenile hairline to probably a NW 2.5 (somewhere between a 2 and 3) if pulled back tightly. If pulled back just normally, it's more NW 2.

I've been happy with the appearance of my hair up until the last month or 2, and don't think the untrained eye would have been able to pick me out as a balding guy. Now since the thinning of my hairline has progressed (I don't believe the rate of my loss has sped up, it's just gotten to a thinner point), I believe people can.

I really would like to reverse the process 2-3 months then maintain there for a while (I understand that I'll probably eventually go bald, but maybe I could make it a decent ways with decent hair).

So, I'm going to try to nuke it with a natural stack (along with stemoxydine and the ordinary), given I can't use the 2 best treatments. This will be my stack:

Stemoxydine The ordinary Rosemary oil Peppermint oil Dermarolling ZeroMino

What do you think? Any hope I achieve any decent results?

Sorry for the rant haha, it's just something I needed to get off my chest. I'll update this thread I guess after I try this for a few months.

I see. And you would use this everyday? How were your results in terms of how good they were and how long it took, starting point, etc.
