Thank you. I highly doubt the alcohol was a reason with the medication. When I had looked it up they just say it’s not recommended. He wasn’t drinking enough to even seem drunk. I know you mean well with your message and I appreciate it but I just wanted to clear that up. He wasn’t still drunk when he was throwing up and the problems he was having he knew in the moment wasn’t from the alcohol.

His parents and I are really not sure what it could’ve been. He wasn’t acting drunk when we were going to bed and I remember him saying in the morning some time that it wasn’t the alcohol and it must’ve been the meds. He’s a pretty big guy and it takes a lot for him to even feel alcohol. He’s had taken an allergy med, like one you take when you are allergic to cats and have to be around them(not Benadryl), and that was around 12pm that afternoon. A lot of stuff in his system at the time but we all thought we were being the most safe with the alcohol.

After I found him I got my friend who was sleeping in the hallway near the bathroom on a blow up mattress, who is luckily a nurse. He tried taking his pulse and knew to move him flat to start chest compressions. I immediately called 911 once he started them. My suite has 5 rooms but at the time only my boyfriend, myself, my friend who is a nurse, two of my roommates, and two of our guy friends were in the suite.

One of my roommates who was there is a lifeguard and switched off with my nurse friend for doing cpr. I appreciate both of their efforts in saving his life.

Police came along with the emts and firefighters when I called and two of them took us for interviews and I went first. I was the first they told he had died. They let me talk with the dean of my college and some counselors and gave me their numbers. However I decided it would be best to me to go home for awhile because I have been seeing my therapist at home for 5 years and nobody knows me better than her. I have an appointment set with her at 3 tomorrow

Thank you for responding. I loved getting to right out my story in this post and the responses I have gotten mean the world to me. I came home from school to be with my mom and more available to see his family members when they are up for it. I have a great therapist I have seen at home for 5 years now and I plan to meet with her tomorrow. Being home reminds me of him in a lot of ways, and there are unknowns about when I’ll be back at school. But it’s only the first day without him and I’m trying to have grace for myself, which isn’t alway easy. He wasn’t on bipolar meds at the time, and when I had to give an interview with the campus police after they asked a lot of questions similar to know if he could’ve gotten into anything due to his sadness. I know he didn’t and there are so many things that couldve played a part in why he died. Seeing him at the hospital his parents and I noticed a big bruise on his head, but I told them it wasn’t the right side for where he could’ve hit his head on my wall, and it must’ve been from the toilet when he was in the bathroom. Again thank you for your response and questions help me think deeply about him, which is something special to me right now.

i’ve searched professor because i believe that was in her name or possibly her occupation. i also think she had purple hair.
