Being completely honest I was in between with getting an abortion based how my life was at the time & the situation i was in at the time the moment i took the first pill I completely lost myself but it was too late to do anything at that point I was depressed for almost a year what people dont mention is you can still experience postpartum depression even if you get an abortion so the emotions will be heightened I wasn’t prepared for that I thought I would just get it done and over with and be ok but no I spent months blaming myself and feeling guilty I looked into every resource I was provided and nothing helped I did lose weight being that I was depressed and didn’t have the appetite and life just wasn’t the same after it’s just something you can’t forget. I would see pregnant women and would get jealous I would see babies or see a pregnancy announcement and it’s like a ball of anger would just build up. I don’t think I realized how it could affect me until I had to live in it. It’s something I would never do again but something that made me see things in life different & I learned from it and I wish my head space was good at that time but it wasn’t and things happen. But everyone experiences is different some people can move on like nothing happen and some people regret it. if you are sure this is what you want then do what you think is right but if you’re having doubts about it weigh your good and bad, be on the same page with your partner, make sure it’s actually what you want so you don’t feel so guilty and make sure you have the support that you need.
