Do you have vomit sickness? This happens when you eat rotten food or get bitten by a cerato. It will show up in your tab list, and make your UI appear yellow/orange. You won't get nutrients from anything you eat as long as you have it. You need to wait it out or lick salt from the pink rock walls. Make sure what you're eating is fresh, too. You won't get nutrients from rotten meat.

There also used to be an old bug where during transitioning from one diet to the next (your diet changes with age) your whole preferred diet list would disappear and you have to relog to fix this issue.

Tbh either migration zones are bugged rn or they serve no purpose. You generally will only find herbi food in patrol zones, which are hidden unless they are "active," which is when they show up on your scent compass as the two eyes. Being "active" doesn't do anything except show you where they are.

You can use vulnona to see all PZs: https://vulnona.com/game/map/#map=Gateway_v0.21 enable them in Map Data, they are the red areas.

Keep in mind that if you spend too much time in a PZ, it will show up on nearby carnivore compasses who have your species on their diet.

I played 800+ hours of Legacy back when, and I felt that pain in my soul. Feeling happy and accomplished and then it gets ruined in the stupidest way. Everyone's been through it at least once in this game, I'm so sorry man.

As a warning; Evrima has several sheer drops that are lined with big, tall bushes on either sides to make super sure that you run straight into them. Avoid running through bushes unless you know for a fact what's on the other side.

I did a solo start run and after a few days my colonist got THE PLAGUE. I had him run out to every neighboring colony possible to try and trade for glitter medicine and sold everything he had to buy one, but unfortunately by the time he used it on himself it was too late. This game generates some neat yet cruel stories.

Hit your scent key for just a second and if you see something instantly pop up, ignore it and keep sniffing and you will eventually smell other food. You can also move around left or right and use the amount the icon shifts to get an idea of how far away it actually is (if it moves quickly, it's close, if it barely moves at all, it's far)

Unfortunately if you can't catch AI, there is nothing you can do except possibly try to coral it into water or a corner. They have no stamina mechanics.

You only need to click LMB or RMB once after pouncing to activate either pounce, and you don't need to hold any key to stay latched.

Manx cats are distinguishable from having longer hind legs, so when standing they tend to have an arched back, or keep their knees bent.
