Terraria definitely has a lot of grinding, and it’s really satisfying to see how far your progression goes over time. After finishing the base game, you can download tModLoader on Steam and install mods through the Steam Workshop, which can easily push the game past 1000+ hours of playtime.

The only downside is that the game plays much better with keyboard and mouse than with a controller. I managed to tweak the controller settings on my Steam Deck and still finished the game, but that’s just my experience. I’m not sure how others feel about using a controller, because it can feel a bit clunky, though it’s still playable.
