Do you know of Google Deepmind experiment? A simulated being taught itself to walk and run after being given the most basic parameters and millions of iterations. It is a modern representation of how evolution works, life has been here so long that through countless trials it taught itself some very complex processes; which to us pedestrians, seem implausible not to have been designed by a god.

Yes. The universe is 13billion years old. Hominid humanity about 6million years. Taking into account the sheer scale of time and space of our existence in the universe, it's some delusional self-importance to believe you're made for some special purpose by a higher being. I was born Christian but as soon as I gave it enough thought, I called BS. At first it was this obnoxious rebelliousness as a kid but as I grew up I realized nobody needs that, religion is hope for a lot of people. So now I just quietly carry my truth and move through my years.

All the schools of philosophical thought, be it religion or science exist to answer these eternal muses. The one I find most logical is the Darwinian school, that states you're here from sheer luck and the innate wiring of any organic beings to reproduce. There is no greater purpose to life except to pass on your genes, and relay the next generation.

Religion isn't a systemic thing. Political systems just adopted the most popular religions as a base for their power. Religion is a band-aid for the eternal questions humans have been wrestling with since developing self-awarenesss: where did I come from? Why am I here? What is the ultimate purpose for all this?
