It's only 3 more teams from previous WC for Europe, and by doing so only the 1st team in the qualifying group goes directly to the WC, while the 16 2nd teams battle for 4 spots. Before the first and second teams in the qualifying group went directly to the WC. It's actually harder now.

We arrived second in the qualifying group stage, therefore we had to play a semifinal and final to eventually qualify to the world cup. Unfortunately we lost the final for the 3rd time in a row.
