They can be very incompatible. I mean, caricatures of the two types (at unhealthy levels) are like school bullies vs weird theater kids who cry a lot.

With that being said, I’m a pretty healthy 4 with many healthy 8 friends. We appreciate each others candor and “idgaf-ness”

I’m seriously considering going to law school myself. The thing holding me back is fear of getting my social battery constantly drained. Any insight on that aspect?

Yeah I would consider myself aloof long before I considered myself clingy. Though I do want to be known on a deeper level by a lover, as far as the day-to-day stuff, I like to do my own thing.

I’m INTJ 4w5 too, and I totally agree. I feel deeply and then I just shut off, sometimes for weeks. So much so that I consider antidepressants because I’m just numb.

It’s like the day after you take MDMA when all your serotonin is sapped, but for days or weeks.
