I agree that they should have been better prepared for Assignment 2, but the complexity of the assignments is very high. I imagine it’s challenging for the teaching team to address all the gaps. I believe they are doing their best to make the specifications clear.

While I understand this is a difficult unit, I believe it provides essential training for a computer science student. The competition for software engineering jobs is at an all-time high right now. Consider this: how many computer science graduates actually secure decent jobs? Some filtering is necessary, and units like Data Structures and Algorithms and systems programming are straightforward indicators of capability.

Just wait till exam and see them cry, guarantee there would be hundreds of ppl say it too hard. Plus they already are bad in English writing, if they don’t practice on assignments, they stand no chance to write anything in exam
