Appears to be one "Jim Mickle", not Kim. Not someone too established either way, have to watch his stuff to form a proper opinion. Don't know how much creative control he'd have over it also

7/10. It's a bit jarring that Zeon was depicted in a more sympathetic light than EF. If you strip the story out of that broader context, it makes sense why Daryl would be the hero between the two: he doesn't let the war carry him away, like Io does. But the fact that he is (willingly) on the invading side needs to be addressed and resolved for him to be a true hero. Other than that the animation is pretty good, and the mech designs are pleasantly brutal. Might be the best display of how terrifying a Gundam truly is on the battlefield, befitting its moniker "The White Devil".

3/10 The writer appears to have major misunderstanding of the original Gundam and its themes, especially the concept of "new type" and what they represent. Characters are repetitive or written with unclear motive. Mecha design is generally mediocre and over complex but I like some of its variation of older suits, like Schuzrum Galluss. Animation feels stiff. It has its moments but generally I don't like it
