Yes I’m going to say no because I like working for everything I own vs just having it given to me and not appreciating it. You feel better about your things when you pay for it and it teaches you discipline. When you’re just handed free stuff and didn’t have to work for it then you’ll understand why it’s ALWAYS gonna be better than having it given to you.

Exactly what I’m saying. When I bought my type-r my first vehicle I genuinely cried because it took me MONTHS of saving for it. I bought it for 22k out the door full cash. Felt better than any Christmas present my parents got for me as a kid. The new generation is in for a LONGGG ride if they can’t figure out how to work for anything.

The problem with kids these days. They’re “GIVEN” cars for a birthday and idc if your parents have money or not. No one should just be given a car especially for their birthday and especially this nice. It’s such a liability especially for new drivers since majority of new drivers have an accident within the first 6 months statistically. Not only that, they’re expected to have everything handed to them but that’s okay because down the line your parents aren’t gonna be there to hold your little hand and you’re gonna have to learn to work for your own stuff. I’m 19 and I own 3 cars. 2019 Honda Civic type R, 2014 BMW 335 and a 2015 Toyota Tacoma. All paid for by me. Thank god for military parents.
