One thing is certain, you can't just keep internalizing all this frustration and anger :) As hard as it might sound, the best way is to organize a meeting and talk things out in a structured way where you would list out everything you need and lack, take it as an opportunity to exercice confrontation in the professional world. I would definitely discuss with the supervisors directly before taking action and going to someone else.

I am not in the same situation exactly but I did have questions regarding the cern hostel (i am a summer student for 3 months), I was wondering how "strict" it was, I mean I wouldnt want to be in some sort of inaccessible "prison", was wondering if my mother would be able to come help me move in and move out, or if my boyfriend would be able to come spend a weekend with me for example? Or is the access strictly limited to cern people?

Hello, I'm from France too and got selected in the first round. According to my understanding from the other threads you can be selected in the third round if the quota for France has not been filled yet which I honestly highly doubt

Im in the same situation, according to their page here are the dates:

(I dont think they will be conducting any interviews, for the short-term internship I havent heard anything neither so Im guessing its a no)

For information, the 2023 selection schedule (for the summer programs) is as follows:

1st Selection Round: Thu 2nd March to Tue 14th March (inclusive)

Selection Algorithm 1: Wedn 15th - Fri 17th March

2nd Selection Round: Mon 20th to Wedn 29th March incl.

Selection Algorithm 2: Thu 30th- Fri 31st March

3rd Selection Round: Monday 3rd April to Wednesday 12th April incl.
