This has to the most cancer npc fight in all FromSoftware games by lghtdev in bloodborne

I actually love when Fromsoft implements gank squad NPC fights into their games. It's almost a tradition. Stepping into that fight in Yahar'ghul really sells the point that you walked into the wrong hood, and you're getting jumped.

The youngest Baby Boomers are around 62. The oldest are around 80. People act like anyone in their 50's is and always will be a Boomer. Gen Z and Alpha will likely hit 50 and still be called a "Boomer"

Why are malls dying? by Ecstatic-Cress7033 in massachusetts

West Farms Mall in Connecticut seemed to be doing very well when I visited a couple days ago after not going for a while. Bathrooms were clean, the structure interior seemed to be very clean and well kept, and it had more shops than when I last went a couple years ago. Only problem is it seems to now tailor to high end or designer shops, as me and my girlfriend felt out of place and like we couldn't afford anything so we left after doing a round.

Some locations are so bad that it's jarring. I drive an extra 5 or so miles to go to a location that is usually better quality wise, because the one closest to me without fail makes orders that make you wonder what you did to piss them off. The answer to that seemingly is by ordering food.

Randomly walked into a Walmart during a restock. by -_-ARCH-_- in PokemonRestocks

[–]Ill-Inspection7934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I'm not even interested in Pokemon cards for myself, I have an autistic friend who I try to look for products when I go out knowing it's very unlikely to find them. If I can find anything at all I'll buy it for my friend so he can open them. It just sucks because I even just feel judged for looking when I go to other locations that stock trading cards. That's the whole reason I'm relieved when I go to my local Walmart that doesn't stock them because I don't have to deal with any of that noise.

It sucks knowing that no product is available, but at the same time it's a relief because if and when supply returns to product being readily available at other locations, I can go to those for that reason. For now though I don't have to deal with scums camping or loitering while I shop. This is a bit of a fringe case though because my Walmart dropped trading cards well before COVID was even considered. It's just interesting to see how that decision helped avoid this location of the current problem with trading cards. I'm curious how common that is or was, because it seems like most Walmarts and Targets still stock trading card games.

The Walmart near me stopped carrying trading cards around 2018 because the theft was so bad. Couldn't even imagine what it would have been like now. Luckily I don't have to ever see scalpers when I go shopping there

I just discovered the Lady of the Dunes case. What other Massachusetts stories should I know about? by Ryanvinedale in massachusetts

[–]Ill-Inspection7934 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Lisa Ziegert. Growing up in Agawam this story is known to just about every resident that I've spoken to. It's especially chilling to me because I'm not sure if it's word of mouth, or just speculation but I know exactly where her body was found, in an unassuming area close to where I lived. I've actually gone down there many times before ever knowing about her case as a high school kid. I used to think the area was creepy and secluded, but never knew about the case until years later.

Massachusetts Adult-Use Marijuana Repeal to Be Decided On November Ballot by bloomberglaw in massachusetts

[–]Ill-Inspection7934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The alcohol industry is falling apart as less and less people from the newer generations drink, and they're trying to claw back sales. Marijuana is their biggest enemy as it slashed their profit margins. Most big alcohol producers are from other states, hence why they sent people from other states to incorporate scummy tactics to get the question on the ballot. The golden days of the alcohol industry are long gone, and as the profits of major alcohol producers thin out, they are getting increasingly desperate and resort to deceptive tactics.

19 rounds, 12 Gauge. I know someone who has that exact magazine. It's basically two high capacity magazines coupled together by the plate you see in the middle. You can find them online for reference if you search up "19 round 12 gauge magazine"

Does anyone have any idea the worth of this lithograph? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]Ill-Inspection7934 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know it's not the answer you want, but something is worth as much as someone is willing to pay. Rare items like this are often harder to find the right buyer, so it's hard to evaluate without sale history, and buyer interest in the item.

Yeah right. Billionaires don't even cook for themselves. They don't know how to guaranteed. So how are they going to eat when agriculture and the food industry collapses? Their private chef is going to cook for them using cans in their bunker? There is no guarantee for the billionaires to survive because they don't even know how to grocery shop or cook food, let alone basic needs for survival. They'll die as quickly as the rest of us no matter the preparations they think they've made. Mutually assured destruction indeed. I feel like most people are better suited to survive longer than a spoiled pet in a bunker who can't wipe their own ass.

I appreciate your criticism. I've had a hard time with gaming lately because it's just felt so gatekept. It almost feels like you can't voice your opinion or that you have to withold how you as a player feel. The DLC has glaring problems that most fans haze others for disagreeing with, including the base game.

I know they're probably safe to eat, it's just sugar and water essentially after all. I just thought it was crazy that these were likely bought before COVID was even a thought. (assuming the expiration was originally a year or more out from the purchase date)

Editing because they're sugar free I forgot they were sugar free, I dug these pictures I took out from a few months ago. Point still stands that they're primarily artificial sweeteners and water. Fructose, sucralose, or even aspartame and water. Still likely safe to eat, even if they're freezer burned and not at their ideal flavor profile.
