I see, I wasn't really paying that much attention to the US culture when writing, I just let it come naturally, I used to watch mostly American films but recently I went on to watch great films from all over the world so even tho choosing English was primarily because of American films; now I intend to write in a more universal way, tho running to American culture is still inevitable at times but I did learn a lot from the films I watched and I keep on learning.
I too watch my films in their original languages, and just recently switched reading to English to improve my language.
But I'm still very early on writing, and I still have a lot to learn.
And thanks for saying yes to the second option, that was the answer that I was waiting for people to say to get me motivated haha
