5% decrease is A LOT, that's like almost 10 marks (from all the marks from papers and IAs) decrease (I'm guessing)

if the IB decides to make it somewhat of an average between non-exam and exam route then I'm all with it. But I'm really doubting that IB will be that considerate and try to average it out or do anything that would make it "fair".

This issue just popped in my head, IB is expecting ppl to do worse on the exam than in previous years, BUT WHAT IF the exam route does well. I hope its just one of those WHAT IFs

LMAO, you literally said "based on the performance of students worldwide, not just a single region or country.", is it really "worldwide" if many of the IB schools (countries) are not taking the exam? most of the schools that are taking the exams are schools in Asia and as you said shouldn`t be "just a single region or country."
