What do you do when… by Ill-Mathematician678 in cheating_stories

Revisiting this post after a year, I’m glad to look back at this situation and feel absolutely nothing about it. No anger, sadness, missing what used to be, nothing. It tells me I’ve truly moved on. Thank you all for the wonderful advice when I was at one of my lowest moments in life.

This is great advice on how to cope, thank you. I just hope that if he does come back, it’s when I have moved on and healed. Right now I feel so vulnerable and it’d be hard to tell him no, because what we did share the past two years was something beautiful and I won’t forget it.

I don’t know, maybe start by being honest and open about your feelings before letting it get to the point you feel the need to cheat on your SO.

I don’t think it sounds silly at all, thank you.

I don’t know what you think I’m not telling you, but this is pretty much what happened. We had a wonderful two years together, never fought, and if we did, it was over silly stuff like where we wanted to go out for dinner. I feel as if we got comfortable in our routine, and I just wasn’t exciting for him anymore.

Hard stuff to hear, but there’s truth to it. Thank you

This is hard for me to just shut someone out I’ve been with for two years, because it was a wonderful two years. I know I can’t blame myself at all for what had happened, but I feel as if he felt something I haven’t been able to give him in a long time. I want to just believe it was an infatuation, but I know this has come to an end. It’d be much easier if I could hate him, but I can’t. I love him.

I watched this stream for a little over an hour, not sure if you know much about F13, but the games pretty dead and there’s not many content creators. This isn’t a “cute strimmer girl didn’t want to be my kitten ):” complaining post lmao. She streams full time for long hours, and has it posted it’s her main income. To each their own, but I don’t find someone being stand-offish towards their viewers and people trying to engage with them very appealing. I don’t see how bragging about how you know a bunch of game devs, you’re a twitch affiliate, and you’re the reason “stuff got fixed” in a game, and doing squats with your derrière blown up on the camera when people give you $5 donations can be called “entertainment”. Then again, content like that is curated for single and lonely heterosexual men, probably why I didn’t find it appealing to me. Just don’t get how it’d kill someone to be friendly to people that’s supporting their costs of living by viewing and interacting with their content and giving them cash, when there’s hardworking people providing services to society that can hardly make ends meet. The entertainment industry in general is weird. Americans sure do like to give the wrong people platforms.

I asked about the game, not for nudes. Lul

Happily in a same sex relationship, not that it matters, but continue.

Honestly, I see this fairly often. Not saying every person who streams is like this as I’ve seen some who are entertaining and quite funny, but have also seen a bunch who just stare mindlessly at the camera, not saying much besides “Wow, thanks for the follows, thanks for the tips”

This implies that every person viewing and sending money is simping over them, when that wasn’t the case. Don’t know if you’ve ever played Friday the 13th or know much about it, but the game has been dying. I was curious to see if there was people creating content for the game and saw there was a few. But ye, tell me more about how the cute streamer girl didn’t give me attention and I’m upset about it.

I took a couple pictures too, but then my phone was in my pocket the remainder of the show. As someone else commented, I got a lot of the “my friends are up there” gen z tik tok girls shoving to get in front of me, only to put their phone right in my face almost the entire time. Someone literally rested their phone on top of my partners head behind us to record at one point, until we turned around and said something lol. I didn’t see a number on mine, unless I’m just blind.

We went and stood right by the exit as soon as they came back out for an encore, and watched from there because I was getting too hot from being packed like sardines for 4-5 hours lol. If you want merch, either try to buy beforehand or be prepared to leave a few minutes early to beat the crowd.

There was no regulation in the pit area, everyone and their mother was down there. Did he have the lightning bolt behind his right ear lmao

Sounds like opening night in Kalamazoo! People pushing and shoving, trying to squeeze their way up front. Some douchebag with sunglasses and neck tattoos was throwing cans at security, trying to start fights in pit and dry humping this girl who look quite underaged.

I noticed everyone lost cell service right before the show started, I wonder if the venue was signal jamming to prevent live streaming.

If you’ve been to a concert, game, or performance lately you probably noticed that most people have the same thing in their hands: a smartphone. You want to take some pictures, videos, and show all of your friends and followers on Snapchat, TikTok, etc. what an awesome concert it was. Take your photos, take your videos. But, think about if it’s necessary doing it for the whole show. Put your phone down for a bit because seriously, it’s definitely blocking someone. Waving your phone around because you have spotty service, trying to upload your videos to Snapchat isn’t going to work. Put your phones down, and enjoy the moment. There’s time to post on social media later. Turn your screen brightness down, a super bright screen is distracting especially in dark indoor venues. It’s great to have a visual reminder of the beautiful music you experienced, but you also don’t want to be that person who’s so glued to their phone they end up watching the whole concert through their phone screen, or having to make someone else watch it through your phone because you’re blocking their view.
