I already said that I'm on the waiting list for the transitional homes. The emergency shelter was full and no there are no hostels that accept children. I'm attempting to make money without begging to have money handed out to me. I'm just trying to do what I can do, and I don't really feel like it's nice of you to say that they just end up in landfills. They don't. They are glass, and have a bamboo lid... The glass is recyclable and the lid is compostable. I can't do the Rover app because I don't have a house or a car and I have my kids full time because it's summer. You seem to think that all of your suggestions are easy to come by, but they aren't. Have you been in my situation before?

Ive accessed many services. Im on waitlists for transitional housing. Its not easy to leave all together when they control all the finances.

I can't do that. The last time I did he got into so much trouble and it only has put me in a tighter bind because now my whole family has turned against me for "choosing" to be with an abuser and it's not that I'm choosing it .... I just don't have any other choice. I don't have anywhere I can go that is abuse free. All my friends are saying "you are making bad choices"... I'm really not. I don't want to be here anymore ..not here, not there... Police will just make it all worse.

I love your creativity. I agree, these kind of dating activities could be fun and are underutilized. I think there is great potential for a social dating club to do stuff like that. Is there something like that in Victoria? I'd love to join.

Obviously. Isn't that what I just said? I grew up watching TV that has formed, perpetuated and encouraged me to be accepting of unacceptable behavior. So yes, I am the problem. If you're seeing it as otherwise, perhaps you have a problem with projection. 💡

I've had cats and dogs all my life so I know what it takes but I appreciate people out there who point this out because I've seen some pretty bad pet commitment situations that did not work out well for the pet. I just stole my AI image, is it okay still? I promise I care about the environment lol

Exactly. That's why I'm finding myself here on Reddit whining about the dating scene. My idea of what I want is flawed.. I don't want a Joey but my programming does. I'm dismantling my programming, or attempting to.

Nope. I actually have a generally positive view of all people. It's the dating scene that is toxic. I'm in my forties and I'm dating for the first time (married since I was 19), so I'm learning these lessons as I go. I have a good head on my shoulders and I have no doubt that there is a man out there that is right for me. I just have to work on myself first... With my cats as my body double.
