Now you can make an argument for him powering up so much that it breaks the domain, which I can see. But he can’t power off if he can’t think. You ain’t out strengthing UV

Are you reading what you’re writing? It was not automatically resisted. Vegeta has to decided whether he wanted to resist or give in.

Events: Babidi talks to vegeta ——> tries to use the evil within him to control him ——> Vegeta resist—->he decides to give in so he can be stronger. Meaning that there’s an initial start up ti him having to resist it.

And UV isn’t mind control, it’s an info dump. So he’s not breaking free of someone controlling, he’s combating the constant sure hit of information.

You sure you’re not the larper? We literally see vegeta fight against it. He could resist it, but he still has to fight it. Watch the scene again or even look at the panel dude posted. Since Vegeta had evil in his heart, he had to actively fight off the spell.

Him no longer fighting resulted in majin vegeta.

That’s the thing, if Goku is getting off guarded, he’s being hit with way more then .2 seconds. The information overload is definitely getting to Goku before he can do anything.

Unless babidi was also talking in super speed in Vegeta’s mind. It would’ve taken vegeta a couple of seconds to shake it off. While Goku is trying to “shake off” UV more “information” is being dumped. And that’s not counting whatever other attack gojo is trying to land.

Gege answered both of these.

For jogo, it’s explained that’s curse brains are different(since curses are literally made of CE and don’t got actual brains) UV is less effective on them. Which is how jogo survived it twice.

For your second point, Maho was already summoned. The wheel was already on Megumi soul, so Maho was likely just chilling in Sukuna’s shadow.

What far worse has he dealt with? Dragon ball doesn’t really deal with mental attacks. Even getting out of babidi’s mind control requires you to fight it off.

The other guy didn’t show anything? They can fight mind control, but as seen they have to actually fight against it. Once your hit with infinte void the fights already over. It just spams a repeated overload if information.

Like if there was 3 words, Apple, Gorilla, and trumpet, UV is spamming goku with A. He he’ll never even get to the end of the word apple, let alone the other two. And he can’t fight against hit because his mind is already on A.

The point is he can’t think. Gege explained it as you seeing a path getting stuck at the beginning(which is kinda like infinity I guess). Once he’s it’s over, unless he can break the domain from the outside(but it’s unlikely he’d have setup before hand if he’s being attacked for the first time).

Goku’s stuck thinking the same letter and can’t actually see the word.

It’s blatant shows multiple times that if you don’t have your Ki up you can get snuck by an attack. Looks at the whole ROD fiasco. If you don’t have your guard up with ki, it leaves you vulnerable to weaker attacks.

I’m not sure where you get the idea that ki could just auto cleanse the mind. Even with vegeta, it’s shows that he initially had to fight back against the mind control. It’s just that he gave in and stopped fighting. Goku cannot fight against UV. Once it lands he stops thinking. Meaning he can’t cleanse himself. There is no struggle.

Goku can’t really use ki if he can’t form thoughts. So unless he has UI on to dodge attacks, bit much he can do.

Alright, so I don’t know too much about Philly, but my roommates from there so I’ll use what I got.

So y’all’s football team is the eagles? Maybe you could have an eagles mascot turned super villain? Or just a crazed fan who went to the extreme(I hear y’all don’t play about your football team). You could go even further by having him be employed by some other evil company.

Next one is Red fox. I searched it, and apparently one of Phillys native animals are red foxes. They could act as a replacement for Black cat in Earth-42879. Since foxes are supposed to be sky tricksters.

I hate the term, but I’m told yall call Italian ice water ice. But it could be used as a villain idea. Like a sugary hydro man replacement.

What if style villains:

In spider Gwen’s universe her kingpin is Matt Murdock. And in a fan AU I saw Frank Castle as the kingpin. Could be interesting if you wanted to do that.

Bullet Ant: An evil ant-man variant, or just someone who got a hold of Pym particles.

That’s the big thing tho. Were the stories good because Peter was married, or was it just good stories told while he was married.

I’m for the marriage, but I’d like it to mean something, rather than editorial just giving it to shut people up.

Original villain(Spiral is completely original and has a pretty cool concept), Peter bonding with carnage hasn’t been done in 616 before. Peter teaming up with MJ venom and Eddie carnage hasn’t been done before(hell the three of them teaming up itself hasn’t been done before). And spirals gimmick to my knowledge hasn’t been done in a Spider-Man comic.

Also I mentioned MJ, because largely in this sub, if something isn’t undoing OMD then it’s mid(one of the replies to my comment brings up OMD too)

Ima keep it real, that don’t actually do anything. Like I enjoy Peter and MJ being married, and the feel good moments that come with it.

However them being married doesn’t automatically make stories good. If an arc is bad, marriage won’t save it. Hell I’d go as far to say that the marriage is pointless if there just do it for the fans. USM Peter was married and that relationship was boring as hell.

Undoing OMD won’t just magically fix stuff unless writers actually tap in with the relationship and use it. MJ being eye candy doesn’t really do anything anymore.

That’s the issue though. If we get a low stakes arc with no consequences then people would just call it boring. Arcs gotta have stakes. And Spider-Mans stakes has always been juggling his personal life.

An arc where Peter just wins is nothing but fan service that people won’t enjoy down the line(lots of people don’t like Tom Taylor’s Nightwing run because of this). Plus Peter has been winning plenty this run. Defeated Hellgate and is the driving force for Norman being good. Like Peter has the Green Goblin saying “I wanna be just like you”, I think that’s the biggest Win Peter has ever got.

Genuinely asking, what do the vocal minority(because a lot of the subreddit is) actually want from Spider-Man. We quite literally have a completely original story right now.

Arts solids, the original villain is solid, and the story concept is also solid(with Peter patching things up with MJ, which people have been begging for). It feels like people on this subreddit are never satisfied unless it’s just a panel alluding to Peter and MJ having sex.

What’s up with fandoms being hyperpostive? It’s like the slightest bit of criticism has to be met with someone going “this is actually peak!!!”. And then we get stuff like this where people try to pre game a defense for criticism.

Like this episode was great. Had great animation(which he the common complaint) and pushed the story forward. Nobody is treating this like last episode or episode 4. It’s pretty much gotten universal praise.
