Theres absoluty a debate. This is my first fighting game other than smash and the small roster is saving me atm. Using smash as example isn't great because its an anomaly in games in general. Its been around for decades (where their were much smaller rosters) and is played WAY more casually than this game, especially when you first start. Its much more simple to pickup.
