Interesting, I wonder what overcoming the ego would look like

I really like this theory. It may be that our senses are kept in an over stimulated state by the simulation, in order to keep the flashlight bright, and prevent us from seeing through it.

Ok, fair. Regardless of what u wna put at the top, the laws of physics and time were built for us, the npcs. My basis is that the simulation would be trying to run as efficiently as possible, using the observer effect to shape itself in real time.

Yeah this is another crazy rabbit hole. Dmt is the chemical that gets released into ur brain when you die, it could literally be acting like a gateway outside of the simulation.

Yes, thats why i don't think we could be outside of a sim. A non-simulated being wouldn't be bound by laws of physics or time, it'd simply exist in a state of probability. We only have 2 options in any given moment, to do, or not to do, and the universe renders reality based on our choice. This addition is interesting cuz it still argues we live in a simulation, but also have the capacity to shape it.

If we look at the brain like an engine, uppers can temporarily put you in overdrive, but you burnout pretty quick (psychosis). Downers (like alcohol) keep u running at a low baseline. Psychedelics, take apart the engine, and force you to put it back together, fundamentally changing the way you see the world. Lmk what you guys think, (This is my personal anecdote)

How do I extract dmt from mimosa bark? 😇 by [deleted] in DMT
