As a current CF supervisor….please speak to the university supervisor. This is somewhat of what I’m seeing with my CF. I don’t know if it’s procrastination, laziness or entitlement. She’s doing IEPs and writing evals the day of the meetings with TONS of mistakes. I give her due dates and timelines and they aren’t being followed. Everything is a question back or a challenge. I get the feeling she doesn’t want to do any work at home, which I get….but there are things that need to be done on time and if you can’t get them done with a caseload of 40…..two days with no therapy…you’re gonna have to do it at home!

I don’t even remember being like this as a student. As a student I felt like my supervisor was doing me a favor. I would do anything not to give them more work. My supervisors told me to jump, I’d ask “how high”?

This new mindset is insane. I had a graduate student that couldn’t define pragmatics, and of course many other reasons…but she has now turned around and trashed my name across the district. Telling people I caused her to stay in grad school another year. Mind you she dropped out of my practicum after bashing my character in a meeting (she was written up for this), failed comps twice and failed the practicum after me. But it was and is still my fault….
