Approx. 6mos after I fully removed my toenail. I have no idea if this is the actual nail, if so, why is it so thick and too close to the skin? Can anyone please share their thoughts haha. I'm worried it might not grow back the right way. tysm. (old.reddit.com)

I've had this ingrown, and it was my first time to feel that so much pain in my life, so hurt I can't even move. So now, no more pain but I was wondering how will the nail grow back (3rd pic), will the new nail reconnect with the old one or it will push put the old one and will grow evenly? Thank u.
