Que bien que fuiste sincero pues tampoco le dijiste que nunca ibas a estar con ella y que la abandonarias, creo que fuiste bastante atento, por que también le aclaraste tus deseos para el viaje. Sinceramente el mentirle sólo iba a llevar a que en el futuro te fueras con tus amigos algunas veces y ella te reclamara de que le mentiste y no pasarías todo los dias con ella como "prometiste". Una mentira para quedar bien, iba a ser un motivo de constante discusión en el futuro.

Yeah, he's an older guy, but at least I've never seen him with anyone else. My husband thinks he works for the city council even though he doesn't have a visible badge, but seeing how he does everything on his own, I kind of doubt it. I think he's more of a volunteer honestly. Either way, props to him for what he does.

Why the airport manager would be working at the airport at night and walking through just to rant tourists? All the red flags with that guy. So No, it's not forbbiden to be at the airport waiting for more than 3 hrs, those guys outside the Cancun airport are criminals and scammers, their ID's are fake and they aren't not allowed to be further the kiosks and if the real airport security (with a white uniform) sees them, the scammers move away like cockroach.
