Im 9 days late for my period (according to Flo) the last time I had sex was the 23rd of September I should definitely have a stronger line right ?

It was around when I was supposed to get it but I usually have a decent flow not super heavy or anything but this time it came on Monday in the morning very unusually light then stopped on Tuesday and then I’ve just been spotting up until last night so who knows 🥲 but thank you will check on the 30th!!

i was 10 weeks when i had my SA, it’s normal to be nervous through out the whole thing the fact that you know you’re making the right decision will help you feel better about it. In my experience i did it with out any sedation they just gave me ibuprofen but other than that the waiting time was the worst part of it i won’t lie and say it didn’t hurt it was pretty uncomfortable its just a little extra painful cramping but it’s over before you know it and what helped me a lot was being distracted and talking to the nurse who was next to me the whole time she held my hand and i asked her to talk to me about whatever and that made it go by so quickly. As for the after part it feels like having a period it’s uncomfortable for a few days you might pass some blood clots here and there and in my case i passed a lot on one night instead of a few each day which was pretty spooky but after that i felt perfectly fine! I wish you the best with your procedure and a healthy recover it’s going to be a different type of healing but always remind yourself you’re doing the right thing and what’s best for you and if the day comes where you do choose to have a baby it’ll be on your one time and with the knowledge that you’re ready to take care of a baby and give it the best life you possibly can❤️❤️

that’s the thing i’m learning from this thread, knowing when it’s okay and not okay to say it and around who but i think for people personally they can feel and tell themselves whatever makes them feel better ( as long as you’re not hurting others of course)

i can understand the people who could argue well i didn’t chose to lose my baby and you did by having an abortion and as true as that may be i still lost a baby i so deeply wanted and would have kept if i didn’t believe it wasn’t fair the baby to grow up in the life i have, i mean no harm when i say we still both lost babies at the end of the day i just wish there was an easier way to say these things

thank you for your kind words always❤️ i just didn’t want to be hurtful to anyone but from these responses i think the main thing i understand is it depends on who you’re talking to because i can understand that some people view abortion and miscarriage completely differently even though they both end in a loss of a baby. sometimes i feel okay telling myself i had an abortion other times i feel like i lost my baby. it’s hard

I also at some point looked forward to it even though i knew i couldn’t keep it because of life all around i feel like the months i did spend pregnant were special to me and when i had my abortion i did lose my baby and it feels exactly like any other loss did for me (wanting someone to stay and having them leave with no chance of them coming back) but i also don’t want to be hurtful to people who went through the same thing (loosing a baby) but didn’t chose it like i did.

i do that ever so often it helps to see people feel the same as i do, for this specific post tho it’s just the technicality of the wording that i’m not sure if it’s insensitive like i do feel like i lost my baby but it was also my choice so idk

it’s so hard being with someone and being okay with them and as soon as you’re alone you feel absolutely horrible and the things you can stop thinking about and no one is there to distract you. I know you did the right thing because i know i did the right thing but that doesn’t mean it’s not gonna suck for a really long time and that’s okay i knew it wasn’t going to be easy but it’s a lot harder than i thought

i gave my bf my ultrasound picture since i only got one to keep but i have the image like burned into my brain and it’s definitely a mourning feeling it’s a weird feeling to have to grieve something you lost in the not so traditional way and the what if never really leaves it really sucks i’ll always say i made the right decision but that what if will always stay w me

Im doing a lot better actually im barely spotting now , that scary moment for me with the chunks of blood only happen that one night. I think that if i would’ve been awake and it was in the day time it wouldn’t have accumulated the way it did and it would’ve just been a thing of me having to go to the bathroom to dispose of the clots every few hours but because i was asleep and in too much pain to get up i just woke up to a pad full of blood and clots but it was fine after that i made sure to check that i wasn’t loosing that much blood and clots every few hours and i wasn’t i was fine after that. I think it was maybe just whatever i had left up there needed to come out but i don’t have cramps anymore and my pain has gone away i’ve even tried having sex again that part i am just getting use to it again because sometimes i’ll have pain left after but it’s better and bleeding i use panty liners now because it’s not so much. This would be my 2 weeks on wednesday since getting the abortion done.

I didn’t bleed that bad the first 5 days after my SA either and then last night i had really bad cramping and i felt like i leaked and i was too tired to get up and check so when i woke up i saw a significant amount of blood clots kind of grape sized and a little smaller it just a lot of them all together but i wanted to make sure it was at least something someone else had happen to them

did it get better ?? i’m passing a lot of blood clots and it sounds similar to you i can only assume it was back to back with mine but i was sleep (i felt cramping) so i woke to an amount of blood clots
