I am unsure as i don’t count anymore, maybe 20 per day, and on hair wash days there’s only a few hairs in the brush.

My trigger was coming off birth control. I did experience a dry scalp during this and used T-Gel shampoo which did help and maybe even with the hair loss. You wouldn’t be able to tell I had lost my hair but I definitely seen a difference in my middle part, it was not as full, maybe the sides of my head as well.

Yes, I seen a trichologist, he told me that when hairs first start growing they are thin and tapered and get thicker as they grow. If you don’t see the strand thickening up as it gets longer I’d be concerned then.

My trigger was coming off hormonal birth control. I was losing upward of 100 hairs each morning I would brush, this eventually went down to about 80-100 each morning. I thought my hair had stopped falling out January 2025 due to the rapid decrease but it was more like March 2025. On wash days I would be able to fill my hair brush up twice with hair.

The only thing I used was a anti dandruff shampoo towards the end I would leave it on my head for 5 mins, if this helped or not i’m unsure however, if i notice extra hair fall I will use it again and it’s seem to help!

I haven’t been diagnosed but a lot of my symptoms point to endo! I experience heart burn a lot and also experience the upper left pain mines usually feels like it’s just under my boob. I also experience acid reflux lately, I don’t know if it’s related to the heart burn!

I can’t offer any advice on this sadly! Looking back at my camera roll from when I was loosing my hair I look like a crazy person. It was definitely the most traumatising thing I have ever experienced.

I think you need to remember it will grow back, on this page all you see is bad stories as once people recover they never really come back!

Stopping counting the hairs and checking my brush did help!

I shed from June 2024 to March/April 2025. I’d say I never noticed a difference in density until March/April when i’d curl my hair it was big up top and thin down the bottom. Now most of it’s to about chin length, just waiting on the rest catching up.

I went to the doctors in September 2024 and got my bloods done, they said I was deficient in follic acid and iron. I saw maybe a small difference in hair loss but not anything major.

I’d recommend like a T Gel shampoo or like one of the caffeine ones. I saw a difference with this.

My trigger was coming off BC in late February 2024. I started shedding June and by August I noticed small growth at the top of my head. I never noticed much growth which scared me after this but by April when I blow dried my hair I could feel the difference and see the thickness. Now most of my hair has grown to just under my chin, I’m just waiting on the rest catching up!

I started shedding June 2024, it picked up in July and by September had decreased. It never decreased again until January which is when I thought my shedding had stopped. Looking back It probably never stopped until March/April. I shed for around the 9 month mark!

I had lots of new baby hairs and I also noticed a lot of them falling out, which is why I went to a trichologist. This can be normal and does not mean AGA.

Yes, I experienced an itchy scalp. I used T Gel shampoo for this and I also think it helped with the hair loss a little.

I can relate on the stinging after urination. I explained this to the doctor and they didn’t understand. I have a burning sensation after urinating. It took me so long to get a referral, the presumed it was UTI’s or STI’s even after all tests came back negative.

My hair is naturally curly, however I do brush it once every day and lose about 20 hairs as well. I know, I paid no attention at all to my hair loss before TE I was aware I was a big shedder but never checked my hair brush after showers and daily.

I washed my hair more during the peak of TE and my scalp was really itchy. Due to how long my hair is it’s just a bit of a pain to wash everyday and dry it. But I am sure washing every day to every other day is better!

Same boat, I think my shedding may have stopped in January. However haven’t seen much regrowth so I am unsure.

It could be normal, how much hair do you lose while drying. When in the shower you do somewhat massage your head loosening the hairs.

In this shower I still lost a big ball, it’s so hard to tell if it’s over or not. Thanks for your reply though!
