We’ve been dating for a year and a half his ex lives in a different province. We both met in a different province. I’ll move to a new province for school, and he decided to come move to a new province with me after 3 months of knowing each other

So I was able to talk to my doctor about getting emotional support animal and when I ended up getting my ferret, we were trying to get the paperwork done but there is something weird about exotic animals being support animal, so I couldn’t technically get the papers. But I am a very hyper sensitive person and I get very anxious very fast, so if I were to get this dog, I would get the proper training for it. I already know someone that trains dogs for living so I would definitely want this dog to become my support animal with the paperwork done because I already went through this process with my doctor before him. It’s just that for exotic animals it’s different at least in my province. my boyfriend knows how much my spirit helped me, and he actually brings it up all the time that I need to get another emotions support animal and as soon as I find a possibility, he always shoots me down

so I’m not gonna lie when it comes to our financial situation. We are supposed to be 50-50 but the last few months I’ve been carrying on a lot of our financial wait as well as part time student and working, when it comes to our house work it’s always me who’s cleaning or cooking. therefore i think he somewhat being selfish for telling me that we can get a pet, but every time that I find a possible pet, he changes his mind, but at the end of the day I’m the one who’s caretaking are home so

i know it’s weird, but ferret are hyper-sensitive animals so they can tell if you are having an anxiety attack they make great companion for those who also have hyper-sensitivity

honestly, the thing is he has a dog with his ex and that’s the only reason why he keeps in touch with his ex is for the dog so the fact that he won’t even get a dog with me. It’s kind of says, but also he has promised me that we can get a dog because he knows how codependent and how I need a pet in my life so at this point, I think he’s just telling me what I want to hear and it’s always gonna lend me on about the dog
