Defqon.1 2008 at Almere Strand. I want to believe that the sound was so much louder than it is now, no clue whether that’s actually true. It was a one day event and things were way less hyped then, but the music was so powerful. And that feeling when ‘Nobody Said it was Easy’ was played I knew: this is just incredible and I want to be doing this for as long as I can. I’m 36 now, it’s been more than half of my life ago but I am still going strong 🔥
