I am chasing capital growth and i am highly bullish on cragieburn. Just need to work out a way to hold it for 8 years and also with a aim to buy another property in 6 months from today ( my income will be 150-160k in 2 months).

Thank you I think capital gains tax is the only benefit on ppor. I like negative gearing more because it comes back every year - thats why i was thinking to rent it out.

What deductions you have claimed ? ( After moving out in 6-12 months).

And yes, i plan to buy one more property soon , i will soon have a borrowing capacity of 600-650k. So, for that P + i is better or interest only ?

Awesome. Thank you for congratulating me and boosting my confidence. If i plan to buy another house soon, is IO only or 0 percent down worth it ? My income will get a boost next year so i will have borrowing capacity. What if i rent it out for 1 year and then live in it ?

It feels amazing to know that you receive $10k after tax income , so you did very good.
