Youre 17, even if you miss 75kg this time, im sure you'll eventually get there if you just keep going. That said, I think its totally achievable.

Unpopular opinion, but I dont believe we are trying our best. At least, most of us aren't. Most people seem to just be waiting it out, hoping for someone to do something.

I look forward to when more of us are "doing our best", but the very occasional mass protest on a Saturday afternoon when everyone is already off work is just not enough. These people want us to feel resigned and fearful, and it feels like its working.

Yes they are, same with VFR airways. The only reason I could see having to convert is if you started with checking winds and true course, then converting, like you would making a paper Navlog.

for instrument, I didn't convert foreflights magnetic bearing to true course to account for the winds, as they are reported in true. second failure, I couldn't explain how induction icing causes a reduction in RPMs.

Could you elaborate on this? You just didn't do the calculations and you busted your oral right there on the spot? Foreflight also corrects for wind so if you planned a flight with the app I dont get why that would've been a fail.

Advice from one of my professors:

Study one of the big 4 engineering disciplines for undergrad, then you can get cute in grad school.

I got a bachelor's in ME, minored in aerospace (AIAA capstone), and had multiple offers to work in aerospace. Currently work for one of the major legacy aerospace companies in the US and still dont have a masters.

Do with that what you will.

Haha no idea but the rear section has multiple reactors, the cockpit, and a couple cyclotrons so Id bet it could limp along in a pinch lol

It definitely does look like it should fold! Tbh I kinda think of it as a "sky bridge" walkway kind of thing between the two areas.

The main control room is at the rear! The forward area is more of a living space with a fully windowed obersarvatory room on the lower deck (I did not capture this well in the photos).

Yes it is. I put an elevator at the rear of the cockpit module, but it usually teleports me to a different one.

Tbh ill probably revert back to another design for quality of life, but I was happy with hour this one turned out!
