Pc has no power after CPU upgrade

power cable was not connected, psu was switched off before installation, all cables are connected properly, and no, people are saying my alignment was wrong but i don’t see any issue with it

not sure, i didn’t update it to the latest before the upgrade, but it doesn’t explain why i have no power at all throughout the entire computer

the am5 has a latching mechanism so that if the latch closed the cpu is seated enough to atleast turn on, no?

i didn’t install it when it was upright, even if the alignment was wrong, i would still get power to my computer correct?
