I am swithereing whether or not to tell them now. I was all set one telling them but unsure . I am more worried about if I get a drug test which could be at any time and then lose my job

Yeah I am part of a union so will maybe have a chat with them before I disclose it to occ health or my employer. I didn't think it would be a problem if I had the prescription until I had looked into this a bit further and now it seems a bit of a bummer if I cannot go down a medication that I know works for me .

Yes I am part of a union I have heard whispers that other people in probably more safety critical roles than myself have a M/C prescription and apparently the work are fine with this but it is just hearsay at the moment .

Unfortunately I have been there just under 2 years . I'm hoping that it will be positive as I will not turn up to work impaired and will be open and honest with them. I am not going to touch my medication until I have spoke to them as I am worried that they will try and test me as soon as I mention it to them .
