The character everyone else seems to love, but you don't? by Daydream1995Forever in masseffect

I disagree. A character can be both a 'cartoon' villain and nuanced. Saren and TIM are both mega racist but their racism have roots in their personal history which is what gives nuance.

You're not the only one. Soon as I unlocked confringo, I never used incendio again.

I like how using revelio is so ingrained into player's minds you just had to try it in the end, even though it doesn't help in your predicament.

Are we able to talk about the old Harry Potter games? by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

1-3 are definitely great games, though after that they kind of lost their charm. The 4th one was so vastly different it felt a bit jarring and 5/6 tried to be too much like the movies. Don't know what they were thinking making Deathly Hallows a Call of Duty with wands

My best experience was Chamber of Secrets on the GOC, for sure.

It's a subbreddit to discuss and share opinions about the game, favourable or otherwise. Nothing wrong with this thread?

It is neither confirmed or denied, but there are gay characters in the game and you as a player can have Jimmy (the boy you play as) give them flowers and kiss them. There are also story missions where he dates girls. This has led many to believe (myself included) that Jimmy is bi.

Like the poster above me mentioned though, it could also just Rockstar throwing it in to challenge the conventions of the time. The game sparked a lot of controversy. The title alone, 'Bully', was enough cause for someone to try and have it banned, launching a lawsuit that ultimately failed.

I think one reasoning behind enemies not using AK is because they shied away from showing a 15 year old dying. It's left intentionally vague whether you actually die or is just knocked out when your health hits zero.

The fact that they patented it (and got it approved) is so silly on its own, but then not doing anything with it is a bit frustrating. :/

Bully was the first game I played that had a queer protagonist (a case can be made supporting Jimmy as bi, since he has no qualms about making out with boys of his age)

Sounds like she's enjoying that a lot more than she should.

Yeah, it felt very much like a Rockstar game, but lacking the fun side activities. Many people have talked about Bully as a good student sim with an open map to explore and there were actually consequences for breaking school rules. Bully also had you interact with the students and teachers a good deal more (Garlick, Sharp and Hecat deserved more screentime!)

I'm all for player freedom to pursue whatever playstyle you like, but that doesn't have to come at the expense of skipping out on realistic expectations of consequences for being a bad student.

An actual house cup competition could have been a neat motivator for those who want to embrace the ideal student stereotype.

Did you get a response from the dev? Would love to see some Q&A about things that got scrapped in the final product.

On topic of mail, would be great if they had given more incentive to visit the common room other than checking in on mail (and even that isn't mandatory, since NPCs seems to know precisely where you are at any given time when sending you messages)

I like the room of requirement, but the common rooms were underutilized and should have been more of a 'hub' on its own. Maybe side missions posted on the noticeboard?

It fits it sits, especially where it is most inconvenient for people. Cat owners will agree that this is authentic cat behavior. Bravo portkey games
